Getting to the Diamond District:

Hours: Most vendors in the Jewelry District are open Monday-Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Check with individual companies for exceptions. Closed on all major holidays.

Directions: The jewelry district is easily accessible from the 110 freeway. From the 110, take the 6th street exit - it’s a one-way street so you can’t get lost! Stay on 6th for a few blocks and turn right on Hill Street. The Jewelry district is one block on Hill between 6th and 7th.

Parking: Parking downtown can range in price from $3 to $22. Many parking lots charge per 15 minutes, with a maximum all day rate. Also, some garages discount after 4pm. Near the jewelry district, there is parking underground at Pershing square, one on 6th street between Olive and Hill, and also midway down the block at 625 Hill St. Some jewelers, like Inta Gems, may validate parking with purchase as well (call ahead to ask about parking policies). For less costly parking, look for meters on the street or park in a lot farther away and walk.
